Compare the Purple Bag and Little Purple Bag on size, capacity, and extras to choose the right Looney Labs tote for your game collection.
Quick answer
Choose the Little Purple Bag if you want to carry exactly one standard-size Looney Labs game and love exclusive promo cards. Choose the Purple Bag if you need a waterproof, roomier tote for multiple games or a gift.
Size and capacity: one game vs. several
The Little Purple Bag is designed to hold exactly one standard-size Looney Labs game, so it's ideal for a single Fluxx deck. The Purple Bag measures approximately 6.5" high by 9" wide by 6" long, giving you space for multiple games or other gear. Neither bag lists a weight capacity, so plan based on the games you actually own.
Waterproofing and construction
The Purple Bag is waterproof and has a double-zippered main compartment plus a flat pocket, which helps protect games from rain or spills. The Little Purple Bag's material and weather resistance aren't specified, so treat it as a fair-weather carrier unless you confirm otherwise.
Extras and value
The Little Purple Bag includes seven Fluxx promo cards you can't get any other way, mostly tied to Seven Islands plus one for Math Fluxx. The Purple Bag doesn't list bonus cards, so its value is in the bag itself. Both are priced close together, so decide based on whether you want the promos or the extra space.
Key trade-offs
- Capacity vs. portability: Little Purple Bag holds one game and is highly portable; Purple Bag holds more but is bulkier. If you only carry one game, the Little Purple Bag is easier to grab and go.
- Weather protection: Purple Bag is waterproof; Little Purple Bag's water resistance is not specified. For outdoor or rainy commutes, the Purple Bag is the safer bet.
- Exclusive extras: Little Purple Bag includes seven promo cards; Purple Bag does not list any bonus cards. Card collectors should weigh the promo value before choosing the larger bag.
