The early years of the 21st century have been known as the Bush years, but to some time travelers, they were actually called the Gore years... This 11-card expansion pack for Chrononauts brings your timeline alternatives up to 2008. Find out what might have happened if the 2000 election had gone a different way. Prevent the 9/11 attacks.
The alternate-history twist where Gore wins in 2000 finally gives the early 2000s timeline some love, and the eleven new cards fit right into the base game without any rules headaches. My group's been playing this expansion for weeks and it's easily the most fun we've had with the timeline mechanic.
Slid these eleven cards into my deck and the Gore timeline instantly became my group's favorite to play. The new IDs and patch cards blend seamlessly with the base set, no rulebook headaches. Wish there were more than eleven, honestly.
The alt-history premise is such a fun twist for a game that’s already about rewriting time, and the cards themselves fit the original deck perfectly. I love how this pack adds a whole new layer of “what if” to our sessions, it’s become a must-include every time we play.
