Like our other Blanxx, this is a "half-blank" Surprise type card, ready to be customized to your specifications using a permanent marker or ball-point pen.
If you are designing your own custom deck, we recommend no more than four or five Surprises in a standard deck.
Bought these to hand-draw a custom deck and the ball-point pen glides on without smudging. The half-blank layout leaves just enough room for my own doodles while keeping a clean border.
The half-blank surface takes a Sharpie without bleeding, which is exactly what I needed for a custom deck. I've already filled out a dozen and the card stock holds up fine to erasing mistakes.
I grabbed a few of these to mock up some card designs before committing to a full print run, and the half-blank surface took ball-point pen smoothly without smudging. The surprise element keeps it fun, but it's the versatility that sold me.
