Zap a Card

Zap a Card - Main image
$0.75 $1 In stock

This is an action borrowed from Aquarius that you can add in to any Fluxx deck.

It says, "Choose any card in play anywhere on the table (except for the Basic Rules and any Meta Rules) and add it to your hand, unless the card you Zapped is a Creeper, in which case it goes in front of you."

This card was originally published as a punch-out from a postcard in 2009 to promote the release of the second edition of Aquarius. In 2014 it was was recreated as a loose promo card which is nicer than the punch out. The punch out version is no longer available.

This little action card completely changes the strategy since you can yoink any card off the table and add it straight to your hand. Stealing a Keeper someone just played is honestly the most satisfying move in our game nights now.

Slapping this into a game and stealing someone's Keeper mid-turn is genuinely hilarious. The wording is clear enough that nobody had to argue about whether Basic Rules were off-limits. Now it's a permanent part of our deck.

Being able to yank any card off the table and keep it is a tiny rule change that completely flips the strategy. I grabbed a Keeper someone had been hoarding all game and it felt amazing. Works with any Fluxx deck too, which is nice.
