This is a New Rule you can add in to any Fluxx deck. (It is included in Dog Fluxx.)
It says, "If there's an actual, living dog in the room where this game is being played, all players draw and play 1 extra card."
This card was first included in Dog Fluxx in 2026, and created as a loose promo so people could add it to their other decks.
My sister's corgi wandered in mid-game and suddenly everyone was drawing an extra card and playing an extra one each turn. It threw the whole round into glorious chaos, exactly what this little rule card was made for. Now the dog gets invited to game night on purpose.
Adding this rule card to our Fluxx games turned every session into a race to bribe the dog with treats so she'd stay in the room. The "draw and play 1 extra" bonus for whoever's got a live dog nearby is a hilarious twist, and my kids now fight over whose lap she sits on.
Having my actual dog wander into the room mid-game is now a legit bonus instead of a distraction. This one rule card makes everyone draw and play an extra card when a real dog is present, which turned our last game night into absolute chaos. Best house rule I've added to the deck.
