Japanese Aquarius

The Japanese packaging is a nice touch if you want something different on the shelf, but I was glad the action cards themselves are in English so my group could actually play without translating. Rules booklet is fully Japanese though, so keep a phone handy the first round.

The action cards being in English while everything else is Japanese is such a smart touch, so we could start playing right away without translating a thing. The cards themselves feel sturdy and shuffle nicely too.

I was a little nervous about the language barrier, but the rulebook is laid out clearly enough that we figured it out in one round. The action cards being in English is a lifesaver for teaching new players, and the Japanese theme on the packaging makes it a cool collector's piece for our shelf.
