This is a New Rule that you can add into any Fluxx deck.

It says, "If you are playing this game in a public place and a stranger inquires about it, all players draw a card." When this card works as described, it's a real hoot!

This card was originally released in the year 2002, as the Borders Bonus on the occasion of Fluxx initially being carried by the Borders chain of book stores. Since then we have decided to make a more generic version.

Adding this single rule card turned our quiet coffee shop games into actual conversations with strangers. If someone asks what we're playing, everyone draws, which sounds chaotic but keeps the whole table laughing. Slips into any deck without changing how the rest of the game plays.

It’s such a simple rule that it almost feels unfair, but the moment it fires the whole table lights up—total strangers become part of the game. We’ve already had two baristas lean in to ask, and both times everyone grabbed a card mid-laugh. Perfect little add-on if you play anywhere with foot traffi

We've only gotten it to trigger once so far, at a coffee shop, and the whole table lit up when the stranger asked about our cards. The rule text is short and easy to explain mid-game, which makes it a sneaky little social experiment more than just a card. Worth it just for the story potential.
