Little Groot

Little Groot - Main image
$0.67 $1 In stock

This promo card works in any Fluxx deck... if all you want it to do is make people say "I am Groot." If you want it to have any function other than that, it really only works in Marvel Fluxx. It says "Groot must be discarded if this is in play. Counts as Groot. If you have this in play, all you can say is 'I am Groot.' If you fail, you must move this to another player of your choice."

This promo card was created in 2019 to promote the release of Marvel Fluxx.

Tossed it into our family Fluxx games and now every round turns into a Groot quoting contest. It's basically a blank card outside of Marvel Fluxx, but honestly that's the whole joke and it lands every time.

I picked this up just for the "I am Groot" gag and it delivers every single game night. We don't even play the Marvel version and it still gets a laugh when someone flips it.

It only works in Marvel Fluxx, but that's exactly where I needed it. The card text is basically just a running joke, and my group still cracks up every time someone plays it.
