Eli ★★★★★

Pulled this out at game night and the Necronomicon card completely flipped the game on us. It's a Fluxx game, so the rules keep shifting, but the Eldritch Secrets theme gives it way more personality than the plain version. We ended up playing four rounds in a row.

The goal cards actually made our group stop and read the little story snippets out loud, which never happens with our usual quick card games. We lost a solid hour to arguing over who had to hold onto the Necronomicon card, and nobody complained once.

James ★★★★★

The theme really shines through in the gameplay—you're constantly chasing those strange win conditions tied to the stolen Necronomicon, and it keeps everyone on edge. The Poet, Artist, and Professor cards each bring their own chaos, which made our game night feel like a proper descent into madness.
