This is the square deck of cards produced for Pyramid Arcade. All the regular cards you'd expect in a standard deck, with separate colors for each suit, plus an extra fifth suit. Great for playing Zark City, where you're building a grid of cards, but you could used them for any card game you like.
Bought these to play Zarc with my regular game group and the separate color per suit makes scanning your hand so much faster. The fifth suit adds a nice twist, though it took a round or two to remember it's there. Cards feel sturdy enough for how often we've been shuffling them.
The square shape threw me off at first but now I actually prefer it, they shuffle fine and fit my table better than standard cards. The color-coded suits make sorting after a game way quicker, no more squinting at tiny corner symbols.
The fifth suit takes a moment to get used to, but it makes Zar so much more strategic once you do. I also love that each suit has its own color—no more squinting to tell hearts from diamonds during a fast game.
