Curious about the Time Breaker demo copy? This FAQ covers what's inside the sample deck, how it differs from the full game, and who should buy it.
Quick answer
The Time Breaker demo copy is a full game with a bright pink DEMO COPY sticker on the front of the box, offered to retailers at 70% off MSRP (one per store).
Why buy the demo copy?
If you run a game store or café, the demo copy lets you put Time Breaker on your shelf for customers to try without paying full price. The discount is significant, and the gameplay is identical to the regular edition.
What you give up
The only difference is cosmetic: a bright pink DEMO COPY sticker on the front of the box. If you plan to gift the game or keep a pristine collection, the sticker may be a drawback. The cards and rules are exactly the same.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the demo copy a full game or just a sample?
- It is the full game. All cards, rules, and components are identical to the retail version. The only difference is the pink DEMO COPY sticker on the box front.
- Who can buy the Time Breaker demo copy?
- The demo copy is intended for retailers, with a limit of one per store. If you own or work at a game store, library, or similar venue, you can purchase it at 70% off MSRP. Check with Looney Labs to confirm your eligibility before ordering.
- How many players and how long does it take?
- Time Breaker supports 2 to 5 players, plays in 10 to 40 minutes, and is recommended for ages 8 and up.
- Can I remove the demo sticker?
- The sticker is applied to the box front and may leave residue or damage the box if removed. If you want a clean box for display or gifting, the full retail version is a better choice.
